MC Tree is dropping Sunday School 2 on May 15 ; “No Faces” is the latest single, and it features Danny Brown. His last tracks to drop from this project, “Trynawin” and “Devotion”, were already crazy; Brown and Tree are a particularly good match, as each has a style that locates a soulful heart in eccentricity.

[Video] Chris Crack – The Interlude

With his latest visual release, Project Mayhem Music affiliate & New Deal Crewmember Chris Crack decided to transport us back in time. Although the Davy Greenberg directed video was shot earlier this week, “The Interlude” is a track found on his first EVER mixtape project, “D.O.P.E. [Doing.Our.Part.Effortlessly.]“, released in early 2012. In the visual Crack shows how he and his New Deal Crew family spend their downtime. So even on his days off he’s working. With a little help from Ms. Badu, Crack proves that he’s been problem since early in his career.

If you haven’t checked out his debut mixtape “D.O.P.E. [Doing.Our.Part.Effortlessly.]“, I suggest you do. And don’t forget his critically acclaimed project, “Kitchen In The Bassment“, is also available for download.

[Video] Chris Crack & Tree – MFKA

With the release of the critically acclaimed project “Kitchen In The Bassment” under his belt, Chris Crack and the Mayhem Music family realizes that there’s no room for complacency. Not resting on his laurels from the success of the project, Crack has STILL been relentlessly hitting the booth. With that being said, Crack unleashes this TEHO Media directed video clip in which he summons his fellow Mayhem Machine brother Tree for light hook duty. On “MFKA” Crack displays his lyrical prowess as he tackles this track in one take. Some of your favorite rapper’s FAVORITE rappers can’t accomplish that feat…

This song is set to be featured on the upcoming project from the ENTIRE Mayhem Machine entitled “The Rest of the World“. The project will be the first full length effort from the entire gang since the 2012 release of their classic street album “Middle America” and will feature all new & original material from every member of the Mayhem Machine

Mayhem Music‘s #ThrowbackThursday feature is back in full effect and this week’s joint is something special. “Lo Sweatas” was Project Mayhem‘s very first full length video and permanently stamped the group’s place in Chicago’s hip hop & fashion scene. The buzz and acclaim surrounding this video catapulted the group into the cross hairs of not only local, but national media outlets. Directed by Phil Lee (see also: “Amazing/Celebration”), this visual masterpiece was unrivaled by any video put out by any local Chicago area artist dating before its release.
