A few weeks ago Project Mayhem had the honor of performing alongside legendary Chicago emcee Common at “From The Ground Up”, a concert sponsored by Virgin Mobile and Common‘s Common Ground Foundation.  All of the proceeds from the concert benefited The Night Ministry organization. The Night Ministry compassionately provides housing, health care, outreach, spiritual care, and social services to adults and youth who struggle with homelessness, poverty and loneliness. This was a sold-out concert and Project Mayhem was proud to be a part of this fantastic event and happy to help towards this great cause. And of course they rocked the joint…

Gutter City/Project Mayhem Music‘s Tree was just crowned as one of SPIN Magazine’s 5 Best Artists For August ’12. If you haven’t noticed, Tree has been grinding hard and it’s great to see that hard work rewarded by all of the accolades he’s been receiving. If you haven’t already, download Tree‘s recently released project with producer Tony Baines, “The Lit“, and be on the lookout later this month for Tree‘s next project, “Trillin‘”, with producer 110% Pure.
